 Yes, Miva Open University is a degree-awarding institution recognized and licensed by the National Universities Commission (NUC). Our programmes adhere to rigorous academic standards and quality.

Applicants must have at least five O’level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics. A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of second class (Lower Division) in a relevant field is required. HND graduates should possess a Postgraduate Diploma to be eligible.

Yes, candidates are expected to have a minimum of 2 years of post-bachelor’s relevant work experience. Applicants with lower academic results may be required to demonstrate additional work experience to show career progression.

Yes, the MPH programme offers specializations in key public health areas such as Epidemiology, Health Policy & Management, and Environmental Health and Health Education & Health Promotion. These tracks allow you to focus on your areas of interest and align your studies with your career goals.

The MPH tuition fee is ₦225,000 per semester and ₦675,000 for the complete programme. Miva Open University is offering an early bird discount, at a tuition rate of ₦540,000 available for a limited time.

 The programme is designed to be completed over 4 semesters of full-time study.

 Examinations are administered online, allowing you the convenience of taking them from your preferred location.

International applicants must meet the same academic and work experience criteria as domestic candidates. They may also be required to provide proof of English proficiency if English is not their first language.

No, the MPH programme is fully online. However, it includes a practicum to help you develop practical skills. Additionally, optional virtual meet-and-greet sessions and engagement events may be organised to foster interaction with faculty and fellow students.

Yes, study breaks are permitted. You should coordinate with our academic support team to ensure your study plan is adjusted accordingly.
